Group Accidental Death & Dismemberment (GADD)

Any individual insured under this plan, who sustained accidental injuries effected directly and independently of all other causes and as a result of such injuries has sustained, with in one hundred eighty(180) after the date of accident, any of the losses enumerated in the following Schedule of Indemnities, Beneficial Life shall, subject to the exclusions & provisions of this plan, pay to the insured individual, if living, otherwise to his beneficiaries, the amount specified for such loss in accordance with the Schedule of Indemnities:

Loss of hand means severance at or above the wrist. Loss of foot means severance at or above the ankle joint. Loss of sight means total and irrecoverable loss of sight.

Total Permanent loss of the use of a body part shall be treated as loss of such body part.

The total benefits payable under this policy in respect to anyone accident resulting in loss(es) within 180 days from the date of such accident(s) shall not exceed the Insured Individual’s sum Insured.

In any policy year, the aggregated is ability benefits payable, including benefits from the accident(s) shall not exceed the Insured Individual Sum Insured.
The amount of benefit payable for loss of life arising from independent/unrelated accident/event shall always be the Insured Individual’s Sum Insured.

Any partial benefit already paid for any loss(es) shall not be carried over in the subsequent policy year, i.e., the amount of benefits to be paid in the succeeding policy year with respect toan Insured Individual shall not be reduced by any amount paid to him in the preceding policy year.

– All regular members of the Policy holder who are atleast eighteen(18) years old and who have not attained his 60th birth anniversary
