Santiago Fernandez is an Investment Manager at Octopus Ventures, where he leads sourcing, execution, and portfolio management of £10–£50 million growth investments across B2B SaaS and Fintech across the UK and Europe.

He previously worked at Goldman Sachs International in London as an Investment Banking Associate in the Fintech & Financial Institutions Group. His experience includes the £4bn sale of Kensington Mortgages’ loan portfolio, the UK Government’s £35bn NatWest monetization programme, and the £660m sale of Tesco Bank’s retail business to Barclays, along with and multiple debt and equity capital raises.

Mr. Fernandez began his career at PwC in Deals & Corporate Finance and later joined Fortman Cline Capital Markets, where he worked on M&A and capital raising transactions across logistics, real estate, and payments. He holds an MBA from London Business School, and a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance & Economics from the University of Melbourne.
